Virginia “Ginny” and I shared a dream of having a catering business together that was fresh, unique and pleasing to our customers. Childhood companions and inseparable friends at UVa., our dream grew with our friendship. Her creativity and my skill in the kitchen, made for a dynamite duo. Nothing could stop us. Ginny left this world unexpectedly and it wasn’t until the birth of my daughter who is named in memory of Ginny - Lola Virginia - that our dream started to come alive again.

The encouragement and support of my husband Daniel has helped me to open the doors of Lola’s Lunches to Richmond, Va. I couldn’t have done it without his unfaltering belief in me and my dreams. Our faith in God and each other is what moves us forward everyday. Hebrews 11:1.
